As I flew to Joburg for the weekend, I decided to read one of the many books siting on my bedside table. I now have a kindle but there is something refreshing about being able to see how far you have read and what lies beyond the next page.....getting back to the book....it is called Natural Cures"they" Don't Want you to Know About by Kevin Trudeau. His thoughts are quite radical and beyond my scope of life but his book is a thought provoker. It is a wake up call to our apathy and belief that the world will fix itself and we can continue pro quo.
Trudeau covers a number of interesting topics but sadly it is filled with conspiracy theories which often cause the converted greenie to read on and the unconverted to put down the book, never to be touched again! His table of contents is eye catching with:
How never to get sick again
How to lose weight effortlessly and keep it off forever
How to read food labels
The cures for all diseases
but one has to know how to embrace the information without feeling as if there is no hope for a healthy future.
Trudeau's theory on how never to get sick again is 111 points long. Some of his points are easy to follow and make sense while others seem utterly ridiculous, or not?" Get natural sunlight", easy to do in Cape Town. "Don't use sun block" is he crazy, I will look like a tomato for the rest of my life. "Eat organic dark chocolate", that would be my pleasure. "Do a colon and gallbladder cleanse", that would be less of a pleasure.
Needless to say, Trudeau has some very interesting facts and figures that the average person might find overwhelming and a bit frightening. Sadly, his web site destroys any confidence in his words since it is so slick and full of "special offers that can change you forever".
He is a #1 salesperson who follows all the rules of "how to make a million". If I had not seen his web site, I might have believed him but now my guard is up and I question if he is in it for the money or to really make a difference. Is he the real thing or a phony?......Your call!
